The series provides motivating material for writing basic sentences and are supportive of pupils working at levels 1 and 2 of the National Curriculum.  They are of particular help to pupils who, because of learning difficulties or because English is their second language, have real problems with writing complete sentences.

Throughout the series, there is repetition of basic sight words common to most early reading material.  Each book is slightly more difficult than the previous one.
